Rebuild the storefront around the working store
A store conversion needs to account for business data as carefully as design. WP Builder Migration rebuilds agreed builder-based pages and store templates using native WordPress blocks and custom theme templates, with a plan to preserve current products, orders, and customers.
The work begins by identifying where the builder controls the storefront: landing pages, product layouts, category pages, headers, or other shared areas. AI can assist with analysis and drafting, while human review checks the presentation and store behavior. Existing builder brands remain supported products; this service is for stores choosing a different structure.
Define the standard store scope
WooCommerce presentation work is an addition to the agreed page conversion scope. The initial review identifies the active payment methods, shipping setup, tax configuration, and extensions that affect checkout. Existing URLs and metadata are retained where appropriate, including important product and category destinations.
- Review product pages, variations, prices, stock display, and images.
- Test add-to-cart behavior, quantity changes, coupons, and cart totals.
- Check checkout, payment testing, shipping, taxes, and order confirmation.
- Review account access, order emails, navigation, and mobile layouts.
Subscriptions, memberships, bookings, and custom integrations need separate scope. The same applies to specialized pricing rules, fulfillment connections, or unusual checkout behavior. These features should be listed before an estimate, even if they are not obvious from the public storefront.
Protect new orders during the change
Backups and a staging copy come first. Test payments use an appropriate sandbox or test mode, with email and external integrations considered so tests do not trigger real fulfillment. Form submissions and other contact paths are checked alongside store flows.
Launch planning must account for orders and customer changes made while the replacement is being developed. A stale staging database should not overwrite the current store. The old builder is removed only after the agreed templates and remaining dependencies are reviewed.
Common questions
Will my catalog have to be entered again?
The plan is to preserve existing store data rather than rebuild the catalog manually. Data issues or changes to product structure would require separate discussion.
Does the conversion include every extension?
No. The standard store flows need review, and complex extensions require their own implementation and testing scope.
Can checkout be tested without real charges?
Many gateways offer test modes. The method depends on your gateway and integrations, and testing is planned on staging before launch.
